All our IP camera systems connect to your broadband router, creating a secure encrypted connection to the internet. Using dedicated apps from manufacturers such as Hikvision (Hik-Connect), Dahua (DMSS) or Uniview (EZView), you can log in from any location to view live camera feeds, playback recorded footage and receive push notifications when motion is detected.
For homes and businesses with poor or unreliable broadband, we also offer 4G-connected CCTV systems that operate entirely over a mobile data connection — ideal for rural locations, building sites and temporary installations.
Security of Remote Viewing Systems
Security of the remote access itself is critical. We configure all remote-viewing CCTV systems using encrypted HTTPS connections, enforce strong password policies, and where possible implement two-factor authentication. We never use default manufacturer passwords — a common vulnerability in cheaply installed or DIY CCTV systems that can expose your cameras to external hacking.
